Nurses & Practice Team

Our Team

We employ a skilled and committed clinical team, comprising of an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Minor Illness Nurses, Practice Nurses, Diabetic Specialist Nurse, Health Care Assistant , Clinical Pharmacists and Paramedic.

Our skilled and committed Admin team comprises of the Practice Manager, Receptionists, Secretary, Care Co-ordinators/General Pracitce Assistants as well as a Dispensary Manager and three dispensers.

Attached to the surgery are Health Visitors, Midwife and Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Community Psychiatric Nurses, Social Prescribers and Musculoskeletal Specialist.

Practice Manager

The Practice Manager manages the day to day running of the practice, dealing with all the administrative and non-clinical issues. We have a practice based system in place to handle any suggestions, comments and complaints. If there are matters that cause you concern regarding the practice, then please make us aware by contacting the Practice Manager. We are constantly seeking to improve the services we deliver. We also have an Assistant Practice Manager that assists in the day to day running of the practice.

Practice Nurse

A nurse is available at 9.00am – 12.00pm and 1.30pm – 5.45pm each normal weekday. Please make an appointment with reception.

Community Staff

Community staff are attached to our practice. We work as a team with the district nurses and various other specialists to provide the appropriate health and social care.
Patients or their relatives may contact the members of the team directly, or the patient may be referred by another member of the healthcare team. Patients may be seen at home or at the surgery by the community staff.

Sharnbrook Surgery is part of the Unity Primary Care Network with associations with Great Barford Surgery, Priory Medical Practice, Harrold Medical Practice and Goldington Avenue Surgery
